Assistant Quantity Surveyor + 2 Years Experience

Site Based: Portsmouth 
Salary up to £38,000 + Package 
 
I am working on behalf of an established main contractor based in Southampton who is searching for a Assistant Senior Quantity Surveyor to join the team. 
 
You will be site based on a student accommodation refurbishment project in Portsmouth worth 14 million. 
You will be responsible for all commercial activities on site from sub-contractor procurement and commercial management throughout the contract up to agreement of final accounts and managing a

Requirements; 
Main contractor background working within the UK 
Experience on build projects - ideally housing, student accommodation or care homes. 
Good knowledge of JCT form of contract. 
Excellent negotiation and communication skills. 
Good experience with variations. 
HNC/HND in Construction would be an advantage.
