Placement Officer

This independent training provider of Childcare Apprenticeships and Youth Programmes is currently looking for a Placement Officer.

The ideal candidate will be highly motivated, organised and have a 'can do' attitude. The successful candidate will be responsible for the following;

- To find voluntary placements for Study Programme and Traineeship learners.
- To maintain existing and establish new relationships with settings to create employment/placement opportunities.
- To interview prospective candidates
- To provide Information, Advice and Guidance - supporting young people in their decision making and progression.
- To Liaise with parents to keep them involved with their child/s education and employment.

The successful candidate should have:

- Experience in the Childcare/Early Years sector
- A minimum of Level 3 in Childcare.
- Full clean driving license with sole access to a car.

Desirable

- TAQA/A1 qualification or equivalent - although this is not essential, this could be an opportunity for an individual to be trained and qualify as a work based Assessor in the Early-Years sector.
