Job Title: Business Development Manager
Reporting To: Commercial Director / Partnerships Manager
Location: Wilmlsow
Salary: £Competitive salary

The Role
Working within a highly successful partnerships team reporting you will be responsible for developing and executing a strategy to diversify and increase the scope and resilience of our partner relationships. This will be achieved through:

- The successful identification, on boarding and management of new commercial partners in the reseller channel. A reseller channel is considered a business relationship with shared expectation on sales development based on a revenue share model not sponsorship or membership.
- Development and ownership of complete sales cycle from partner identification, pitch process, contract agreement, roll out, and account management.
- Negoitiating with and influencing senior decision makers through expert sector knowledge, product proposition, and market insight.
- Achievement of agreed revenue targets for new business acquisition within reseller partners.
- Establishment of new partnerships and networks with complimentary business service offerings.
- Development of internal knowledge, capability, and products to improve conversion rates within key sectors.
- Responsible for developing appropriate review mechanisms and action to enhance intermediary/partnership relationships,
- Communicating with key internal and external stakeholders to ensure consistency of approach, service delivery and clarity of objectives.

The Person
* Sound commercial knowledge and business awareness ideally gained in a business services/consultative selling environment.
* Comfortable presenting, negotiating and influencing at board room level.
* Proven track record in setting and implementing tactical plans to activate commercial partnerships and maximise new business opportunities
* Ability to build and maintain strong relationships and create an extensive network of contacts both internally and externally.
* Ability to influence and manage key stakeholders, internal and external to deliver sales objectives.
* An understanding and awareness of the sales process through 3rd party channels.
* Experienced in delivering operational plans to achieve sales and maximise business opportunities.
* Able to assimilate and analyse information and data from a variety of sources and use this to plan effectively to ensure objectives are met.
* Experience of implementing change including embedding new systems,processes and technology.
