Our housing teams provide rapid response and planned maintenance services for local authorities and registered providers and deliver in excess of 5,000 repairs every day to a growing portfolio of around 1,000,000 homes across the UK. We currently have an opportunity for a Multi Skilled Plastering Operative to join our team in Milton Keynes Within the role you will be responsible for completing repairs to the housing stock as required by our client.

Liaising with the Mears branch you will enable a response to all jobs within given time periods as laid down within the contract to ensure the work has been carried out both effectively and efficiently. You will also be responsible in making certain that any further information/ works from any job is passed over to the office staff as required. Coordinating with fellow operatives on site you will work efficiently as a team member to make sure target deadlines are met.

Candidates for this role will ideally hold extensive experience within Carpentry/ Plumbing and Tiling coupled with experience within Plastering. Ideally candidates will hold a Trade qualification however this is not essential. With strong time management skills, the Multi Skilled Plastering Operative will have experience of preparing all paperwork including timesheets, accurate descriptions of work carried out, estimating repair requirements, trades alongside job coding and costing. Moreover, we are looking for an enthusiastic individual with the ability to succeed. Successful Operatives will also be added to the branch out of hours rota.

 

Candidates for this role must hold a full valid driving licence
