Dispensing Receptionist

We are a small G.P. practice in Bawtry near Doncaster looking for two dispensing receptionists to share a total of 40 hours per week.  Previous experience of a reception role is necessary, although this does not have to have been in the health care sector.  A dispensing qualification is highly desirable though not a prerequisite.  

The position will involve working across two sites; Bawtry Health Centre and our smaller Blyth surgery.  Duties will involve making appointments, taking telephone calls, greeting patients, making and dispensing prescriptions, scanning, filing and general administrative duties.  If a dispensing qualification is not already possessed, the successful applicant must be prepared to undertake a National Vocational Qualification in dispensing for which additional time will be provided.  

The 40 hours will be divided between two persons, with both being required to cover one-another's holidays and holidays of other members of staff through paid overtime.
