Maintenance Engineer Based in Whitstable GBP28,000 GBP30,000 We have a fantastic opportunity for a Maintenance Engineer to join our client, a leading manufacturing company, based in Whitstable. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly accurate, confident and organised candidate to join this established organisation. About the Maintenance Engineer You will be responsible for ensuring that all work is carried out to a high standard and that the facility is kept running at optimum levels. This includes PPM and breakdown maintenance, fault finding and commissioning of equipment. As the Maintenance Engineer you will ideally be qualified to 17th edition standard and be knowledgeable in both Mechanical and Electrical disciplines. You will ideally also have knowledge of PLC controls, Tool room machinery and CNC machines. Key duties: * Will include Inspections, Testing, Planned maintenance, modifications of plant and building equipment. * Maintenance of facilities. * Investigations, diagnoses and rectification of faults on mechanical and electrical systems. * Set up and shut down of plant operation when necessary. * Fabrication of miscellaneous parts if necessary. * Adhere to production requirements schedule. Whilst not exhaustive, this is a good range of duties expected to be carried out. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives in a manufacturing environment and who is flexible, resilient and open to change. Pneumatics, hydraulic experience would be advantageous.
