Manufacturing Manager
We looking for a Manufacturing Manager to join and help lead our manufacturing team for our Power Service business based in Lincoln. This role is a great opportunity for an individual who is passionate about driving delivery of the product through the factory and safely managing the people and machine resources effectively. You will engage others in the challenge and driving continuous improvement to ensure world class OEE.
What are the responsibilities?
- Driving continuous improvement
- Be an ambassador for our Zero Harm safety culture.
- Ensure resources are aligned to deliver parts on time to program.
- Optimise operations to deliver world class OEE.
- Create and maintain good communication methods with all contributors in the supply chain both inside and outside of the department, engaging them in the challenge.
- Make continuous daily improvement the norm.
- Reporting KPI's
What do I need to qualify for the job?
- Previous experience working in a CNC environment
- Experience in managing a diverse team (this role has 15 direct reports)
- Experience of SMED
- Lean manufacturing experience
- Change management
- OEE creation and improvement
- Financial reporting and management
- Degree educated.
- Developing people.
- Time served in an engineering discipline.
- Process management
