The Marketing Assistant will have knowledge of a wide variety of marketing techniques and concepts, be an excellent communicator and creative thinker. They will need to respond well to pressure and be interested in what motivates people.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with the scope, preparation and execution of localised partner marketing campaigns across Africa.
- Owning the NetApp and VMware marketing plans and aligned MDF budgets
- Monitor each campaign to track effectiveness and engagement levels.
- Recommend improvements and proactively implement changes.
- Database management - Ensuring partner mailing lists are kept up-to-date.
- Business analysis - monitor and track campaign ROI whilst producing reports for management.
- Finance - Managing budgets and processing funding claims with vendors
Requirements:
- 2+ years in a similar B2B role within the technology sector assisting with the following:
1) Marketing campaign planning and execution
2) Social media
3) Content creation
4) Event management
5) CRM/CMS
6) Budgets
7)Analysis
- Fluent in FRENCH (Essential) - Arabic (Desirable)
- Undergraduate Degree ideally within Marketing or a Business related subject.
- Professional CIM/IDM marketing qualification (desirable).
- Excellent planning and organisational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and activities at a time
