More about the role

In this role, you will be joining the Acquisition Team – the department responsible for getting customers to ao.com via our paid channels. This expands across Google search engine marketing, banner advertising, offer websites, marketplaces such as eBay as well as reciprocal brand partnerships with big blue chip companies.

As we continue to grow on our mission to become the best electrical retailer in Europe, this department is vital to the success of ao. com. We are a 20-strong team spanning a range of expertise – form whom you’ll get to learn interpreting data to identify trends, planning creative campaigns to hit targets and liaising with other key departments in the business to ensure a clear, consistent & enjoyable shopping journey for the customer.

 Here's what you can expect to be doing

- Collating daily costs from all the channels to ensure we are reporting accurately

- Supporting in building display campaigns via our 3rd party platforms, targeting the right audiences

- Reviewing Google ad messaging & coming up with new ideas to test to optimise our campaigns

- Communicating out promotions to 3rd party websites such as Nectar

- Getting involved in department meetings around the business to understand the wider picture
