Car Mechanic / Vehicle Technician / MOT Tester - Superb Company
Location: Standish, Wigan
Our client is a long-standing motor service station which has operating for nearly 60 years.
They are currently looking for experienced car mechanics/vehicle technicians/mot testers to join their Standish service station team.
The desired candidates will possess the skills and experience to carry out all aspects of light vehicle maintenance including light and heavier work.
The ideal car mechanic/vehicle technician/mot tester will possess:
- NVQ level 3 or equivalent/time served experience
- A valid driving licence with no more than 9 points (you will be subject to licence checks)
- Experience in a professional workshop environment
- A good approach to customer service
Working hours are 40 hrs per week + 1-in-3 Saturday mornings (paid at time and a half).
In return our client offers the successful car mechanic/vehicle technician/mot tester a competitive salary based on a technical grading system, approximate salary range is £15,500 - £29,000 per annum.
