Established in 2006, our client is a publisher of high quality visitor guides for cities and regions across the UK and Ireland. As part of growth plans, they are now seeking a Senior Account Manager to join them in Gateshead.
Our client has an impressive portfolio of advertisers from all areas of the retail, leisure and tourism markets and now needs you, as a Senior Account Manager to play a vital role in driving uptake and ensuring the success of their business.
The Rewards:

The Role:
As a Senior Account Manager, you will be tasked with selling advertising space within our client’s digital and printed guides.
Specifically, your role will involve:
- Identifying new advertisers and maximising business from existing customers
- Dealing with every type of business from small local retails to corporate brands
- Presenting solutions to decision makers
- Closing sales of all shapes and sizes from a few hundred pounds through to tens of thousands
About You:
To be considered, you will need:
- Sales experience, ideally gained within retail advertising (such as a local newspaper or magazine)
- Confidence in presenting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- The ability to forge relationships with senior figures
- An ambitious attitude and the tenacity to succeed
Other roles you may have previously held could have been Senior Account Manager, Adverting Sales Executive, Sales Account Manager, Sales Executive or Sales Representative.
