We are seeking an experienced individual to join the team in this teaching role, experience of managing in an Educational environment is necessary with particular experience of managing quality and Staff performance essential. Developing programmes of Study at all levels, including Level 4 and above, both classroom and work place based is a key element of the role. The ability to teach in one of our specialist areas of Computing, Games or Digital Media is also an integral part of the role.

As the successful candidate for the position of Course Team Leader: Digital Technologies, you will possess the following essential knowledge, skills and experience;

  • Have a recognised higher level teaching qualification and a degree or equivalent in a relevant subject
  • Be able to teach creatively, use e-learning effectively, adapting to the needs of a variety of students and be willing to explore new teaching and learning strategies
  • Have a proven ability to teach across levels including at Level 4 or above
  • Show an ability to share a passion for the subject and develop employability skills in students
  • Be proficient in one or more of the Games programming, Software Development, Cyber Security or Computer hardware/networking disciplines.
  • Play a significant role in the design, development and delivery of programmes of learning which meet the needs of the College's students and which satisfy internal and external quality assurance criteria
  • Understand the learning needs of the student population and be able to deliver challenging and exciting learning sessions

Hours: 37 hours per week, 52 weeks per annum

Salary: GBP26,216 - GBP33,232 per annum (plus Skills Supplement for Outstanding Candidates)
