VACANCY

Production Administrator

Salary circa £22k dependent on experience, 37½ hr week, with ongoing training, profit related bonus and 20 days holiday (plus statutory days).

Termate is known worldwide as a leader in the design, manufacture and application of busbar supports, established for 60 years.  We now have an opportunity for a Production Administrator to join our team in Nottingham with an immediate start.

Our production area includes compression and injection moulding machines, together with some light assembly work, producing parts that are used principally in the low voltage panel building industry both in the UK and overseas.

The ideal candidate for the role will have some experience as a Production Controller within a manufacturing environment.

The primary job purpose is focused within the busy sales office to plan the daily production needs based on incoming orders together with purchasing raw materials and maintaining stock levels.  Equally important is the co-ordination of despatch requirements including the production of necessary export documentation.  A key part of the role is to assist other members of the production team to ensure timely and accurate output of all works orders, as well as leading daily production meetings to ensure all orders are processed efficiently and to customer delivery deadlines. In addition, you will provide guidance / support to the sales team on material availability, expected delivery dates and lead times.  Periodically the role also includes assisting with the input of customer orders onto the system.

The Company prides itself in a high level of Customer Service and therefore you must be willing to aspire to maintaining that level of performance in a “can do” environment.

Essential Requirements:

  •  Basic standard of education, including GCSE Math's and English (or equivalent)
  •  Confident in communicating with others, by phone, and email
  •  Good standard of written and oral communication
  •  Good standard of attendance and time keeping
  •  Ability to prioritise own workload, meet deadlines and solve problems
  •  Team player with a “can do” attitude
  •  Ability to work alone, with supervision
  •  Strong will to succeed and responsibility for own output

This is a full time, permanent position. Our site is in New Basford with regular tram and bus links.
