We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic individual for the role of Office Administrator, working for our client based in central Harrogate, the role is temporary and will go permanent after 3 months.





The client offer training, encouragement and investment for all employees and are committed to the continuous improvement of the business.



This is a varied role that would suit someone just starting their career or perhaps looking to move into administration. The ideal candidate will be willing, able to take the initiative and be prepared to learn. Full training will be given to the right candidate.





Responsibilities

* Taking inbound calls and meeting and greeting visitors to the office

* Ensure incoming post is scanned and out-going post is recorded and stamped daily

* Scan cheques and update the relevant systems before sending on to the bank

* Weekly and monthly website and newsletter updates

* Checking and inputting all purchase invoices and associated filing

* Inputting general accounts

* Ordering stationery and staff uniforms

* Ordering stationery for all sites

* Accepting deliveries and ensuring they reach the intended person

* Carry out general office administrative and housekeeping duties



Requirements

* Professional Attitude and Good Manners

* Excellent Customer Service skills

* Accounts knowledge and the use of SAGE would be advantageous but not essential

* Confident in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel & Outlook

* Able to work towards and meet deadlines

* Strong attention to detail





Working Monday to Friday, 9am - 5.30pm, in return the client is offering an hourly rate of GBP8.00ph.
