A leading Accounting firm in the South of England are looking for Accountants to join their growing team. Based in fantastic offices in the heart of Brighton the company are one of the fastest growing accounting firms in the UK and have exciting plans going forward.
The business specialise in providing Accountancy services to sole traders, small limited companies and contractors. They pride themselves on their excellent client exposure, service delivery and technical expertise.
The role is within the main accounting services team and duties include carrying out all accountancy related activities required that fall under the accountants' responsibility. Responsibilities also cover producing year end accounts, self assessment tax returns, Quarterly VAT returns and PAYE returns.
Additional duties include maintaining a detailed knowledge of the firm's services, understanding technical skills of the team accountants and working closely with other key stakeholders in the business.
The ideal candidate would be qualified with or studying towards an ACCA qualification or approaching final stages of the AAT course. Practice experience and good knowledge of tax planning and structuring is beneficial.
