LOCATION: Earby, Lancashire
JOB TITLE: Skilled Inspectors
SALARY & BENEFITS: Competitive rates of pay + 40% shift allowance, 10% pension contribution, profit bonus & generous shift and overtime premiums
WORKING HOURS: Full Time - Shift Pattern - Monday to Thursday 6am-2pm or 2pm-10pm / Friday's 6am-11am or 11am-4pm
THE COMPANY: Our client located in Earby, Lancashire (UK) is principally a manufacturer of complex precision components, and sub-assemblies predominantly for the commercial aerospace market. They are a global company turning over GBP820m and a profit over GBP80m who are constantly growing so now seek Skilled Inspectors to join their existing team.
THE ROLE: An exciting position has arisen for a Skilled Inspector to join this progressive company where you will be based in Earby and will undertake First-off and batch inspection of machined components and assemblies. You will have strong knowledge of first principle measuring
equipment and the ability to interpret complex engineering drawings and CMM measurement results.
Key Responsibilities for the Skilled Inspectors role in Earby, Lancashire dependent on previous skills /experience will include:
- Inspect machines components and machines and ensure assembled correctly
- Identify faults and errors
- Ensure all components and assembled machinery meet companies strict high standards
THE CANDIDATE: The successful Skilled Inspector will have strong knowledge of first principle measuring equipment and the ability to interpret complex engineering drawings and CMM measurement results. You will be a hard working and accurate person who takes great pride in their work.
Key Experience/ Characteristics preferred for the Skilled Inspectors role role in Earby. Lancashire :-
- Must be within commutable distance to Earby, Lancashire
- Previous experience using first principle measuring equipment essential
- Experience interpreting engineering drawings and CMM (Coordinate-measuring machine) measurement results
- Must be hard working and motivated person who takes pride within their work
