Head of Care Quality Audits

The Organization is the leading provider of compliance & care management services across the UK, with over 2,800 happy clients nationwide. Due to continued growth, we are looking to recruit an enthusiastic Head of Care Audits to join our Team. This challenging and high profile role provides the opportunity to develop a highly effective on site auditing process to promote and encourage services to deliver high quality care and support outcomes, and that they are using the management system as effectively as possible.

The position will have a far-reaching impact the standards of care delivered across the nation. The role is ideally suited for a skilled and experienced Registered Manager, Area Manager or Quality Assurance lead with a good range of exposure to service improvement, quality processes, inspection and the development of innovative teams and practice

Benefits:

- An excellent basic salary of £60,000-£65,000 negotiable DOE

Role:

The Organization has clients across England, Scotland and Wales operating a wide range of care services. From large Care Homes and growing Domiciliary Care providers, to specialist mental health organisations and learning disability services. The range of situations you will face in this role will be varied. We are looking for a passionate and driven individual to be a central member of our growing team.

You will be key to developing an innovative and high profile support service for our clients. The role will involve working with the senior quality management team, accreditation agencies, developing the auditing methodology, piloting, defining the process and the practical implications of delivering an onsite auditing / inspection function for our clients, and relate improvement to the use of the our management tools. You will also lead by example and undertake audits / inspections to help refine the product to be as practical and useful as possible for clients.

This is a new role and will involve leading on the establishment, development and ongoing management of a team of high quality auditors that will be undertaking the audits / inspections of registered care services and who will follow the agreed process and methodology.

You will also be a key member of our team, supporting aspects of the planning, organisation and delivery of the policy development and other work undertaken by company. You will be working closely with a wide range of industry leading Expert Contributors, and keeping up to date with best practice to ensure the continual development and improvement of the audit methodology.

The ideal candidate will have:

* A background in multiple levels of social care
* Wide experience of Regulation
* Experience of undertaking inspections, audits and monitoring within a range of care services
* Management experience gained with a social care service
* An understanding of CQC strategic direction and the impact on care delivery
* Skills, knowledge and understanding of inspection and effective quality assurance methodology
* Degree level education
* Development of quality assurance and monitoring tools and processes
* Excellent administration skills
* Experience of growing teams and remote management
* Demonstrable evidence of leading on service improvement
* Evidence of being a confident self-starter, independent and adaptable to a highly fluid and changeable environment
* Experience of improving services and implementing effective quality assurance processes
* Experience of working within a team and of successfully managing conflicting priorities
* Confidence in managing a wide and varied range of external relationships
* You will be IT literate and have a creative, innovative approach to problem solving
