It’s an exciting time to be in the UK water industry. Until recently, most business customers have been unable to choose their water supplier, but this is changing.

Our client works closely with their business and public sector customers to provide a range of energy services. As the market becomes increasingly competitive, they are driving service improvements to meet their customers’ changing expectations. With great customer service at the heart of everything they do, they are winning new business and have a rapidly expanding team as a result.

They are now looking to appoint a Marketing Communications Specialist to create engaging customer communications for online and offline channels, manage internal communications and support the development and delivery of PR activities.

You will become part of a dynamic team working across many channels and market sectors with other internal stakeholders to determine marketing communication needs, create an annual content plan and deliver customer marketing materials including printed and electronic media, whilst ensuring consistency across all communications in terms of tone of voice and brand style. You will manage internal communications activities, coordinate customer mailings and assist with event organisation. You will own the intranet channel and manage production of the monthly internal newsletter. You will take responsibility for content marketing execution to assist our developing marketing automation programme.

The successful candidate will need to demonstrate excellent writing skills and the ability to communicate with a wide variety of audiences using different methods. They are looking for an individual who can adapt to change, is pro-active, persistent and committed to doing an excellent job. The candidate will have experience of internal communications, managing concurrent projects and liaising with different teams. Knowledge of Wordpress, Photoshop, MailChimp and marketing automation packages would be an advantage.
