My client who are on the leading Database support outfits in the UK are seeking a number of Technical Oracle Consultants to join their team based in Nottingham.
In this role you will involved in the day to day support, troubleshooting and administration of customers Oracle databases and IT infrastructure. You will liaise directly with customers to assist in problem resolutions. You will use the clients call handling system to receive, investigate and document the resolutions of support issues generated by customers.
The more senior position will also involve mentoring Junior members of staff and also providing technical assistance to internal members of staff for fault resolution and consultancy requirements.
Required skills:
- Strong Oracle database experience
- Oracle product experience including - Oracle RMAN, Oracle DataGuard, Real Application Clusters, Automatic Storage Management, SQL & PL/SQL Language and more
- Operating systems experience with Windows, Linux, Unix and Solaris.
- Oracle certification (OCA, OCP, OCM)
- SLA support structure experience
