Production Supervisor
Prestige Recruitment are currently looking to recruit a Production Supervisor for our client based in South Yorkshire.
Our client is an established Modular Manufacture specialising in the bespoke build of loft conversations you will be part of an expanding company who will grow your knowledge and look to progress you career. Ideally, we are looking for applications form individuals who have worked in either a modular build environment or some form of factory engineered product. A planned and result driven approach, confident and able to manage your team.
As Production Supervisor, you will be working alongside the manufacturing teams, responsible for the following duties, but not be limited to:
• Manage and work alongside small teams engaged in the production of modular buildings
• Planning work and ensure that safety, quality and productivity targets are met
• Be engaged with prompting continuous improvement activities throughout
• Support delivery of the business strategy and operational programme
• Develop and engage the team to achieve high standards of compliance with health & safety, quality, technical specification, customer service and environmental requirements
• Help write and maintain any quality standards and operating procedures
• Ensure training is carried out and that training records are maintained
• Monitor materials in order that they can be reordered in a timely fashion
• Ensure hours and materials are booked for appropriate jobs
• Assist with organising transport of both goods in and out
• Provide cover for other management members in their absence
Hours of work will be Monday to Thursday 07.30 to 16.30 Fridays 07.30 to 13.30 (40hr week) a degree of flexibility will be needed to meet production demands.
Salary/ rate of pay will depend on experience
