Mechanical Engineer Surveyor - Boilers / Pressure Systems
Location - Slough, West Drayton, Hayes, Uxbridge
Starting salary GBP(Apply online only) + car + pension + bonus + training + 25 days holiday + private health care
The Person:
Knowledge / experience required:- Boilers, Steam Boilers, Industrial Boilers,
Air, water and steam systems,
pressure vessels, pipeworks, tanks, heat exchangers - Understanding of corrosion and erosion
- Metals and materials
ESSENTIAL - HNC / HND / degree in Mechanical Engineering discipline (eg Plant Engineering / Marine Engineering), I Eng or NVQ Level 4 or Eng Tech or Foundation Degree, LCGI / Licentiateship Full Technological Certificate / Full Tech Certificate.
The Job:
Home based looking after a client base in a geographical region you will be responsible for visiting sites / premises to carry out inspections on plant and equipment, including; Boilers, Steam Boilers,
Air, water and steam systems,
pressure vessels, pipeworks, tanks, heat exchangers
compressed air systems
Duties will include Site / premises inspections, compliance surveys, health and safety checks.
Ex Forces background is not a requirement but these backgrounds can be suitable sometimes - Royal Electrical Mechanical Engineers, RAF, Army, Navy, Marine Engineer.
