Junior Accountant
Due to continued expansion, our client a successful and reputable accountancy practice is looking to recruit an experienced and hard working Junior Accountant to complement their friendly team.
Key responsibilities will include:
• Managing a portfolio of clients from credit and debtor control to producing management accounts
• Production of monthly VAT returns, quarterly management accounts and year end accounts
• Assist with payroll, using Sage Payroll to produce clients' wages including weekly, fortnightly and monthly
• Calculating PAYE, NIC for HMRC and sending in RTI information
• Company registrations directly to Companies House on behalf of clients including annual returns and any other accompanying paperwork
The successful applicant will possess a minimum of 2 years within practice, in a comparable role. You will ideally be qualified to AAT level, confidently handle all areas of accounts prep and demonstrate excellent IT skills including Sage.
