HR Officer - West London - Permanent - up to GBP32,000 + GBP5.2k Car Allowance

My client, a global business service provider, are currently looking for a generalist HR Officer to join their growing team. This role will be providing comprehensive and pragmatic HR advice and support to managers and employees in line within organisational policies, procedures and legal requirements.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

To provide a dedicated HR advisory service, in relation to absence, conduct, capability, grievance matters, organisational change and the range of employment and employee relations matters. Escalating enquiries to the HR Director as and when necessary

Design, implement and communicate HR/employment policy, processes and documents which promote effective and efficient working practices and reflect the company culture.
*

Analysis of HR management information on a monthly and ad-hoc basis, gathering / monitoring statistics; including monthly attrition rates, headcount and absence reports. Understanding all aspects of how they impact the business
*

Drive forward the management of casework, relating to sickness absence. Including making recommendations; liaising with Occupational Health, providing advice and support to managers, presence at dismissal meetings on medical grounds.

Design and co-deliver development workshops in key areas of HR best practice, to enhance knowledge and skills with key stakeholders monitoring results
*

To keep up to date with developments in employment legislation and human resources best practice, knowledge sharing within the team to ensure continuous development and improvement
*

Conduct formal employee meetings as required i.e. exit interviews, requests for flexible working, maternity meetings, etc
*

Maintain the administration process with regards to the long service awards.
*

Manage the start to end process with regards to temporary recruitment
*

Management of third party suppliers monitoring performance
*

To provide cover across all HR areas as appropriate

PERSON SPECIFICATION

*

2-3 years generalist HR Experience in providing comprehensive HR support and advice
*

CIPD Level 3 minimum
*

Degree level education
*

Experience leading and supporting on complex Employee Relations issues with comprehensive knowledge of HR processes, concepts and practices
*

Experience of implementing HR Policy and Procedure
*

Working within a small/medium sized company - multi site environment essential
*

Confident, articulate, professional attitude, analytical organised team player.
*

Demonstrate the ability to analyse and understand data and information quickly. Using the information to formulate recommendations and make robust defendable decisions.
*

Ability to 'own' and drive forward specific areas of human resources and develop on own initiative
*

Ability to work with a large volume of enquiries and under pressure
