This is a fantastic opportunity for the right person.

Responsible for supporting and coordinating validation projects and processes, the successful applicant for this permanent full time position is to ensure that all manufacturing processes, equipment, computer and analytical methods are fully validated, thus meeting operational requirements

* Responsible for producing full life-cycle validation documents for new equipment and processes

* Assist in producing the validation master plan

* Support production and R&D operations in the identification of process validation/improvements for new product development

* Coordinate with the relevant departments in the execution of validation projects and ensure full compliance with all customer and international standards

* Draft and publish application SOPs and final validation reports

* Ensure all projects are delivered on time and under budget and with the required quality
* Mentor junior members of staff
* Produce a suite of project documentation
* Promote the company image by successful implementation of systems
* Maintain close liaison with the client as part of the day to day project engineering responsibilities

* Must have a relevant degree (or equivalent) in an engineering or technical discipline
* Must have had industry experience working within an automotive engineering/manufacturing environment
* Must have experience of both equipment and process validation
* Will ideally have experience of other areas of validation including CSV, cleaning, facility or utility qualification
* Must have a working knowledge of GMP and the regulatory requirements for validation within the automotive industry
* Must have at least 5 years' experience in validation within the automotive engineering/ manufacturing industry with at least 2 years' experience in a similar Validation Engineer role
* Strong instrumentation knowledge
* Knowledge of health and safety and hazardous materials regulations
* Demonstrate an understanding and have hands-on experience of generating and reviewing validation lifecycle documents
* Build, cultivate and maintain strong client relationships
* A working knowledge of, or hands-on experience with, automotive production processes
* Ability to discuss technical aspects of validation and engine testing with clients
* Must have experience of using data loggers, pressure and temperature instrumentation
* Must be computer literate with a very good knowledge in the use of MS-Office, SAP and SRM
* Must have very good English skills (oral and written)
