Our Client
Our client is a leading UK Capital Equipment Manufacturer, making specialist machines for the engineering industry. The equipment is used to clean precision components from hydraulics and engine blocks to turbine blades and sensors. They are looking to recruit an experienced and professional New Business Development Manager to join their expanding team.
The Role
As New Business Development Manager you will be responsible for relationship building with new and existing customers, proposal and presentation preparation and general sales/marketing duties. You will be expected to close sales and provide customer support throughout the system build, commissioning and initial months of running. You will be working alongside marketing executives to help with lead generation, using targeted mail shots and attending exhibitions.
The successful candidate must have previous experience of a precision engineering environment. You must be a self-motivated, self-sufficient and organised individual. The candidate will receive extensive coaching and direction to help develop into this role. This is a field based role covering companies in the south of England.
