As the experienced Universal Grinder, your main duties will include Setting and Operating Jones, Shipman, Myfords, Speed Hone Universal Grinders.
As a skilled Operator/Setter, you must be competent at the machining of complex parts to tight tolerances (microns) and using various types of measuring equipment for the Automotive and Aerospace industries.
As the successful Grinder, you must possess previous experience of working in a similar manufacturing environment and you have to be able to interpret engineering drawings.
Grinder Requirements
* Setting and Operating Jones, Shipman, Myfords, Speed Hone Universal Grinders.
* Strong grinding experience, working to tight tolerances (microns) and using a variety of measuring equipment
* Competent in the use of Universal and Surface grinders, including internal and external grinding
* Must be competent in reading and understanding engineering drawings
* Experience in dealing with bespoke projects and small batch work
* Ability to work without supervision
Working Hours
Monday to Thursday 7am to 4pm Friday 7am to 12pm
Pay Rates
Great rates of pay which are up to GBP15 per hour.
