SECONDARY school cover supervisor JOB IN PRESTON

WOULD SUIT CANDIDATES LOOKING TO GAIN EXPERIENCE BEFORE APPLYING FOR A PGCE.

This Secondary school based in Preston, Lancashire is looking for a cover supervisor work with pupils from years 7 to 11. This will be to cover day-to-day and longer term sickness.

Randstad Education currently works in Partnership with a number of local Secondary schools in the Penwortham and surrounding area providing short and long term cover. As partnerships schools we get a high volume of business around this area and are looking for locally based candidates who are available to work at short notice.

You will need to combine your professional experience and skills to supervise groups of approximately 30 pupils. Working as a Cover Supervisor, you will need to have worked in ideally a school environment before and be comfortable managing sometimes challenging behaviour.

Responsible for ensuring the effective learning of these pupils, you will need to have presence and confidence in your abilities
