Maintenance Technician / In-Store Building Technician (Retail)
My client is a leading retailer with 1000`s of sites across the UK, to ensure each of their stores is kept to the highest standard they require a Maintenance Technician / Building Technician to join them, you will complete a mixture of planned and preventive maintenance across their stores.
Location: Edinburgh City Centre
Salary: Competitive
Hours: Flexible working hours required, including 1 in 4/5 weekend rota
To be considered for this role we are looking for individuals, who have at least completed one trade to a high standard, ideally with a formal qualification as well i.e. Apprenticeship, City & Guilds, NVQ, HND, HJNC or equivalent in any trade, but this isn`t essential.
As an Instore Maintenance Technician, your role will be extremely varied and will cover all fabric maintenance instore. If you can turn you hand to any of the following we would love to hear from you, Joinery, Electrical, Plumbing, Lighting, Decorating, tiling etc. (but not limited to).
If you have completed a similar in-house maintenance role then this could be an opportunity for you, remember this doesn`t have to be in retail. In the past, my client has hired maintenance professionals who have worked in colleges/schools, hospitals, office buildings etc.
