Our client is a leader in the stockholding and distribution of metals. They carry a comprehensive range of stock for various sectors.
Due to their continued growth and success they are looking to recruit a Manager/Metallurgist to join their team.
Your role will cover the following:
Managing a team with the ability to motivate others.
Working in a busy quality/production department.
Supporting the Quality Manager and will provide cover in his absence, including management meetings.
Conducting process/product/surveillance audits.
Control of supplier approval database and external approvals.
Maintenance of the Quality Assurance System.
Dealing with Metallurgical queries and customer queries.
Technical drawing reviews.
Raising despatch paperwork and Certification.
Liaising closely with the Sales department, advising them on a wide range of technical issues.
Ideally you should the following qualifications:
HND or above in metallurgical/materials technology.
