Senior Ecologist, Eastbourne - Specialist Ecological Consultancy.
Zodiac Recruitment have a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Ecologist to take up a managerial position within a South Coast based Specialist Ecological Consultancy.
Our client has been going through a period of expansion and as such require the services of an experienced Ecologist to add quality and expertise to their growing team in Eastbourne.
This role will primarily focus on delivering high quality technical work and written reports, whilst accompanying junior/seasonal staff in the completion of various on-site surveys.
Suitable applicants will hold the following skills and experience:
• 4 years + ecological consultancy experience
• First class written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to write EcIA's
• Knowledge and experience conducting protected species and botanical surveys (Phase 1 Habitat surveys)
• Experience conducting ecological mitigation/enhancement plans
• Full UK driving licence
• At least one protected species licence (Bat and/or GCN preferred)
• CIEEM membership
Salary - up to GBP35,000 for the right candidate.
