Warehouse Operative - Early Morning Shift (22hrs)

You will be based at our premises at the Wholesale Fruit Centre, Bristol organising the timely picking, packing and dispatch of fresh fruit & vegetables for our wholesale deliveries and retail outlets across the South West. 

Mon/Weds/Fri/Sat - 3.00am - 9.00am

Role and Responsibilities

• Early morning starts & all weather working
• Receive deliveries of bulk stock from the wholesalers, check quantities and store tidily
• Pick and package orders onto pallets within agreed timescales
• Dispatch orders with appropriate paperwork and load vehicles
• Operate pump truck and FLT (if applicable)
• Housekeeping & general warehouse duties as required
• Recycling and waste removal
• Adhere to all Health & Safety requirements (must have STCs and Hi-Vis)

Preferred Skills

• Flexibility with regards to working hours
• A good team player able to work under pressure
• Experience of warehouse environment and manual handling techniques
• Full Clean UK Driving Licence

Qualifications and Essential Requirements

• A proficient standard of Maths & English is required
• Counterbalance FLT Licence
