Sales Ledger/Credit Control

Boxes and Packaging (Manchester) Ltd require a part-time Credit Controller for their small accounts team. Hours of work are 23.25 hours per week. The position covers all aspects of credit control, debtor administration and credit limit setting.

You will be responsible for all aspects of the sales ledger including cash collection, by telephone and email, allocation to customers’ accounts, setting and updating credit limits and assisting the Finance Manager where necessary.

You will have a good track-record of collection, experience of computerised accounts and a good knowledge of Excel. Basic accounting knowledge is essential and a qualification in Credit Management or other business discipline is desirable. You will be experienced in working under pressure and to deadlines with a good eye for detail. Car ownership is desirable  as occasional business journeys may be required, for which a mileage allowance will be paid.

Salary is negotiable according to experience and qualifications. Holiday entitlement is 25 days per annum plus statutories (pro rata for part-time). Other benefits include pension and on-site parking.

You will be based in Bredbury, close to Stockport centre and convenient for motorway and links to south and east Manchester.
