We have a great opportunity for passionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as a Support Worker across Sandwell in the West Midlands; we have flexible permanent & fixed-term part time roles available.

We have a permanent Female Waking Night Support Worker* opportunity available at our accommodation service in West Bromwich. This home belongs to six energetic people aged between 34 & 53. In this role you will work two nights per week totalling 17.5 hours. Experience is not necessarily required for this role as we are able to support you and provide you with an excellent induction. However, it is really important that you are able to demonstrate the right values and behaviours to enable you to make a difference to people’s lives.

We also have Experienced Support Worker opportunities within our 'Get Out There' Group in Sandwell that provides support for children and young people who still live at home with their families. Working one to one we promote communication skills, life skills, mobility and access to the community. For this role we are looking people who have experience of providing practical support (including personal care) people in a home, community or education setting and to have also gained a Level 2 Diploma in health and social care or equivalent experience. These part-time roles will be offered on a fixed term basis that is due to end in March 2018 (funding dependent); we're looking for people that are available to work from 4pm - 6pm weekdays and various times at the weekends. Candidates will be asked to discuss their availability at interview so you can be best matched to the hours available.

Sense also supports people to take part in some of our amazing arts and wellbeing activities – from dance to music making, swimming to rock climbing.

Being a Sense Support Worker can be the springboard to your future career - and to all sorts of opportunities and management roles.

Flexibility is needed as working times do vary; we will however provide you with a rota in advance so you can plan your life accordingly.

*For genuine occupational reasons we are looking to appoint a female only (exemption under the Equality Act 2010 Part 1 Schedule 9) for the role within West Bromwich only
