About the role...
In line with the growth plans for the Global Channel, British Ceramic Tile have created an exciting brand new role to focus on the further development of our retail DIY accounts in Europe and North America.
Developing and maintaining strong relationships with our existing customers, as well as identifying new target customers will be key in this role. You’ll utilise your expertise to influence key business functions such as Product Development, Marketing, Supply Chain, Customer Services and Logistics.
This exciting role will be home-based, although regular international travel will be required. Ideally, you will be based close to our Yorkshire Hub in Cleckheaton which will help you to work closely with the Head of Global Sales. Working hours will be Monday - Friday, 40 hours per week.
Who we are looking for?
International sales experience working with DIY stores or similar retail chains is essential, as well as having a good understanding of product development and marketing strategies.
The ability to be brave in negotiations is very important, as is the ability to work collaboratively within the team to ensure the alignment of growth strategies. The ideal candidate will therefore work in a similar role currently, with direct and immediate access to key decision makers.
Naturally, the successful candidate will demonstrate genuine enthusiasm for our product and the opportunity this new role presents!
