What you can expect

Seeking an experienced individual to lead the development and delivery of the sales programmes to achieve sales objectives and has the ability to manage a small team. The programmes will need to deliver both tactically and strategically for the Retail Network and internal sales teams. Ideally individuals will already be working within the automotive industry, however, working in other market sectors delivering successful campaigns and programmes is the key for the role and experience is essential in delivering successful tactical programmes which achieve sales targets and results.

This role is a management role and offers a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious, results focussed individual. Other Responsibilities will include:

  • Developing tactical marketing programmes for cars and commercial vehicles for the UK Network to deliver results.
  • Implement strategic and tactical vision to develop plans based on competitive activity and market leading positioning.
  • Develop Programmes to ensure customer loyalty & retention and conquest.
  • Liaison with external agencies to develop online systems for measure, monitoring and recording campaign / programme success for future development and reporting.
  • Responsible for the Retailer demonstrator programme including strategy and deployment of new vehicles in market.
  • Close liaison with Finance house to develop future strategies for programmes to deploy throughout the year as part of the overall programme strategy.
  • Work closely with the Senior Management team, Field Teams and Retail Network to understand requirements to ensure programmes are developed that will deliver results.
  • Brief and work with Marketing, Digital, CRM & Brand teams to define retail messages and ensure all opportunities through the line in marketing are optimised.
  • Define POS for relevant programmes and review all materials at Brand and Retailer level.

Qualifications

  • Experience in a B2C environment (automotive industry experience a plus, but not a necessity).
  • Strong interpersonal skills required to build/ manage relationships and influence/negotiate at a senior level.
  • Influencing skills- with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders in the business.
  • Strong problem solving capabilities with the ability to think strategically across multiple business functions.
  • Strong attention to detail with a good creative eye and bring a fresh perspective.
  • Strong communications skills at all levels and internally and Retailers – both spoken and written.
  • Educated to Degree level or equivalent.
