Rehabilitation Consultant

BEAST Prosthetics has an exciting opportunity for a Rehabilitation Consultant to join its multidisciplinary team and provide support to clients with prosthetic devices.  We are looking for a Consultant to support our clients complex needs, advise both the team and clients on appropriate options.

The Ideal Candidate:

The successful applicant must meet the following requirements:

• Medical degree
• GMC registration
• Experience working with clients with limb amputations / differences
• Evidence of regular appraisal, learning and continuous professional development

Our ideal candidate will be an experienced Rehabilitation Consultant with a specialist interest in working with clients who have undergone amputations / have congenital limb differences.  The successful applicant will be highly motivated, personable in nature, build strong relationships with clients and colleagues alike and will be capable of getting the best out of those they work with.  They will be committed to the delivery of a client focused service and will treat all with dignity and respect.

They will possess exceptional clinical skills and be familiar with complex clinical issues that may arise within the specific client group.  They will be a strong communicator and will collaborate effectively with the client and others in the multidisciplinary team; in doing so helping clients succeed in meeting their goals and exceeding their expectations.  They will be keen to promote evidence based practice, assertive and flexible.
