An excellent opportunity has now arisen for a Concierge/Caretaker to join us on a full time, permanent basis at our new temporary accommodation block that we are opening in Milton Keynes.  The temporary accommodation consists of 29 units, housing a maximum of 100 tenants at full capacity.

Within this role, you will be responsible for the day to day site in line with the agreed Services Specification, lets and site security.  

Reporting to the Senior Portfolio Manager, you will undertake duties relating to the safe operation of the building, surrounding grounds, lets, cleaning where required, ensuring minimum disruption to the daily activity.  In addition, you will also be expected to undertake duties of fabric and handyman repairs.

In order to be successful in this role, it is essential that you have previous experience of caretaking/cleaning coupled with experience of mobile or static handyman/trade skills.  Good written and oral communication skills are also important along with good IT skills.

It is also essential that you have an element of customer focus/service experience. Due to the nature of the role, there may be times where you will need to handle difficult situations in a calm and courteous manner, and/or liaise with local council representatives/ social services.

Although not essential, previous experience or knowledge of the building trade/industry would be beneficial. 

Due to the nature of the role, a clean driving licence is essential as is the ability to obtain enhanced clearance via PVG, Disclosure Scotland/CRB.
