Veterinary Care Assistant/Student Veterinary Nurse
Full Time - Hertford
Hertford Vets4Pets have an exciting opportunity to work as a Veterinary Care Assistant/Student Veterinary Nurse and join our existing team in welcoming our clients and their animals into our practice.
Based on the busy Madford Retail Park in the Pets at Home store, our surgery is bright, spacious, air-conditioned and built to industry leading standards. We are located within 3 minutes’ walk from the train/bus station.
You will be part of a friendly and supportive locally owned practice that works hard but believes in a good work life balance. We are a small team comprising 2 vets, 1 veterinary nurse, 2 receptionist and 1 student nurse.
We strive to deliver a brilliant service for our clients and their animals every single time and are therefore looking for a colleague who is like minded. Someone who is passionate, enthusiastic and committed to the role; an individual with a vibrant personality, flexible attitude and good general nursing skills.
We are looking for an experienced Veterinary Care Assistant who would like to pursue the path of veterinary nursing or a Student Nurse that has already started their college course in veterinary nursing and are looking for a supportive environment to continue their career.
The rota is full time, 40 hours a week with 1 in 3 weekends and days off in lieu for weekends worked. There will be no OOH.
Our new colleague will be hardworking, organised, and have excellent communication skills. You will also enjoy communicating with and being part of a very busy fast paced health care team.
