An opportunity has arisen for a Customer Service Team Leader at this Council. The Council is working towards becoming an employer of choice with its Vision of a Northampton - Ambitious, Prosperous, Proud supported by the Values of Leadership, Integrity, Service Excellence, Challenge and Responsibility.
They are looking for a dynamic individual to support the running of their busy OSS (One Stop Shop) and CC (Contact Centre). Knowledge and experience within Housing and Wellbeing, in particular Homelessness and/or Revenues and Benefits is essential.
They are looking for someone who is continually looking at news ways to improve their service delivery. Partnership working is essential and they are looking for someone who can lead their partnership networking liaison meetings and identify new Partners to support their vulnerable customers. Duties will include: -
- To manage a team of officers delivering the Customer Services in accordance with current statute
- To manage the provision of a seamless Customers Services team in accordance with the Council's policy and procedures for various departments
- To provide line support to the team with corporate and service objectives
- To undertake Team Leader responsibilities for any area within the service on a rotational basis
- To retain an in-depth knowledge of CTAX HB/CTR administration guidance together with the overpayments and monitor changes to legislations and regulation.
- To coach and mentor staff.
