More about the Commercial Project Analyst role

You will work regularly with the commercial, quality, operational and transport teams. You will also be required to communicate with client support, IT and facilities whilst maintaining good working relationships with colleagues and teams across the business.

Here's what you can expect to be doing as our Commercial Project Analyst

Your role will be a project driven one in which you will utilise and analyse key business data to identify areas for process improvement. Working closely with departments throughout the business to determine the most cost effective long term solutions for process changes. You will recognise, design and implement cost saving initiatives and see these projects through to completion. You will have a financial focus and will be delivering projects around operational improvement, communicating budgetary benefits and managing project cycles from inception through to delivery.

- Using data to identify and support projects based on operational development

- Summary of process finding

- Communicating findings to influence change

- Accurate interpretation of data

- Fleet & Labour Planning

- Cost benefit analysis

As one of our commercial analysts you will be dedicated to improving our business processes and managing projects that aid us in achieving our aim of becoming the best delivery service for electrical goods in Europe. As our Commercial Project Analyst you will be approachable and have excellent people skills with the ability to communicate with colleagues of all levels.

A bold and innovative thinker you will approach the analysis of project data with the clear aim of improving our business.  You will be driven by objectives and deliver with a smile as you develop strong working relationships both internally and externally.

Key skills and experience needed to become our Commercial Project Analyst:

You will come from a background of data analysis or project management/ involvement. You will also ideally have some logistical knowledge and a heavy commercial awareness.

- Managing and investigating change and cost benefits

- Reporting to up to and including senior management

- Ability to change focus and balance involvement in multiple projects

- Working in a fast paced and results driven environment

- Excellent working knowledge of PC suite

- Time management & flexible working

- Analytical

- An innovative thinker

- Methodical and logical approach to tasks

- Intermediate Excel knowledge (Advanced preferable)
