Outsourcing and Software Support Senior / Manager
Taunton
Purpose of Role:
Provision of bookkeeping assistance, software installations and training together with ad hoc support to clients and staff on all aspects of our clients suite of accounting and payroll software (Xero, QBO, SageOne and Sage50).
Responsibilities:
• Providing support and training to clients at their premises
• Providing support and training to staff
• Dealing with ad hoc queries
• Assisting with seminars and training events on topical issues
• Reviewing outsourced work, ensuring accurate and timely provision of data to clients
• Managing junior members of staff
Knowledge, skills and attributes:
• Excellent working knowledge of our clients cloud products as well as Sage50 accounts and payroll packages.
• Underlying accounts, VAT and payroll knowledge, including Real Time Information and Auto-Enrolment.
• Good working knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel
• Able to work independently and demonstrate initiative in delivering an excellent service to clients
• Able to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines
• Good written and oral communication skills
• Calm and efficient under pressure, with the ability to respond to client enquires promptly, accurately and efficiently
• Confident and professional in approach
• Full driving licence plus unrestricted access to a car
• AAT qualified or equivalent
• Experience of providing training to others
Training
• On the job training in the early stages, but with further training identified and supported through our annual development and performance review process
