Our passion to provide the highest quality of customer service is key in everything we do and to support our teams in doing this we now have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Group Accountant to join our team at Vantage Toyota Knaresborough with responsibility for the Group’s Yorkshire and Lancashire Toyota dealerships.

Market Area Accountant Responsibilities:

To be successful in this role, we are looking for someone who will provide a professional and high quality accounting service whilst providing support to the dealerships management teams.

Your main focus will be supporting the business to produce monthly management accounts for the dealership timetables as well as reviewing requirements. As part of these reports, Month/Year end statistics will be produced in accordance with the companies accounting timetables.

You will also contribute to the effective operation and development of the dealerships by providing advice and information on all financial related matters. This will involve reviewing current performance, identifying opportunities for improvement and being the central point between the accounting centre and the dealerships.

The ideal Market Area Accountant:

To be successful in this role you will:

• Have experience in accountancy within a motor dealership environment
• Have the ability to prioritise business requirements and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
• Have exposure to multi-site reporting although preferable not essential
• Have Kerridge or V8 DMS knowledge although preferable not essential
• Be an excellent communicator with an enthusiastic and friendly attitude
• Show commitment to delivering the highest level of accounting standards
• Be respectful and courteous to customers and colleagues
• Be resilient with a drive to succeed

This is a full-time role and typically you will be expected to work between 8:30am and 5:30pm Monday to Friday.
