If you answered yes, then that ‘somewhere’ is with our Client. They currently have an exciting opportunity for a Quality Support working nights to join them at their Corby site on a permanent full time basis.

Within the role, you will work as part of the operations team, operating within the framework of HACCP to ensure that all product is manufactured safely and to the agreed customer specifications. Verifying the effectiveness of daily deep cleaning through inspection and rapid hygiene routine environmental swabbing, you will carry out appropriate pre-production checks to ensure the timeliness of startups.

Conduction investigations and ensuring appropriate corrective action in the event of customer complaints, you will use the daily production plan and raw material sheets to make sure that all retail products and part processed raw materials are collected for microbiological and shelf life analysis. Reporting any out of specification results to the operations and technical teams, you will conduct any tests as requested by the Production Manager form any factory trials.

They are looking for someone who is computer literate and who has a good attention to detail. With a working knowledge of food microbiology, you will also have a good understanding of technical systems covering food safety, legality and quality.
