Training & Development Manager
Connaught Resourcing Ltd is urgently seeking a Training & Development Manager for a company who deal with providing training and development to refugees within the Bristol and Birmingham region.
Our client is seeking someone who has experience will ESOL learners and dealing with learners from refugee background whose first language is not English.
They will also be expected to support tutors and if needed delivery classroom teaching if tutor is away. Who can also help create books for lessons the successful candidate will have experience of a teaching background with management experience of managing small team of tutors and winning new education contracts.
The role will be responsible for the training budget including the strategic decision making regarding the choice of utilising training providers and the opportunity to continuously improve the training function of the group.
This role would be suitable for an experienced Manager with a Work Based Learning or Further Education background used to managing a team of trainers / assessors preferably with previous experience in employability, functional skills, accredited vocational and professional training. Proven track record of achieving towards targets and leading a team performance is essential. Whilst you will not be expected to sell, candidates must be able to demonstrate a sound level of commerciality.
