I am currently working with a primary school in the Weston Super Mare area. They are looking for an experienced Teaching Assistant to start after Easter, the role will be ongoing until the summer (end of July 2017) but may be longer for the right candidate.

The school is a mainstream 1 form entry primary school and has been rated "Good" by Ofsted and is very well equipped with fantastic resources, the staff utilise these resources in order to offer the best level of support for there pupils.

The school has fantastic transport links, onsite parking and is in walking distance from a train station.

You will be expected to work on a 1:1 basis with a student with behaviour problems. There will already be a Teacher and another general class Teaching Assistant within the classroom, enabling all pupils to receive the right amount of care and support.

Key skills and experience needed:

*Experience working with pupils with challenging behaviour

*Previous support work within a school or other child related experience

*Strong behaviour management and confident with challenging behaviour

*Behaviour management and experience engaging learners.

*Recent experience with working with primary aged children
