Our client designs and manufacture precision forged, machined components and fully finished parts in their fully integrated facility in the heart of the UK. Their vision is not only to be the best at what they do but to continually set new standards in the industry by investing and innovating. That’s why they have been pioneers in their industry for over seventy years.
They have partnered with a third party energy management consultant for the last three years and have delivered utility savings of £1million per annum (20% of our total energy cost) – they are now looking to reduce on third party consultants and continue the delivery of energy savings by recruiting for a Lead Energy Advisor.
As their Lead Energy Advisor, you will play a key part in monitoring their utilities consumption; working hand in hand with their production and support function teams and making recommendations for change and managing energy reduction projects. Guiding their team to make transformational steps to drive both process and behaviour changes, you will improve the utility consumption output year on year and make their plant aspirational in their approach to energy deployment within the industry.
With a degree or equivalent in a relevant discipline, the successful candidate will be a member of IEMA or CIBSE and have an appreciation of BREEAM, CfSH or LEED assessments. With strong project management skills and a business improvements background, you will be results driven and have a proven ability to deliver on set objectives and targets. They’d also like you to have a good level of financial understanding in a complex manufacturing business application and have knowledge of working with modelling software.
This is a role where you can really add value and make a mark on creating the factory of the future in the forging industry. If this appeals to you, they would love to hear from you!
As well as a fulfilling and rewarding career, they offer a competitive package including lifestyle benefits, salary sacrifice schemes for childcare and bikes, holidays, pension and on-site parking.
