Contracts Manager-Shopfitting
Our client based in Cheddar in the heart of the South West is looking for a Contracts Manager- Shopfitting to join their team. They are looking for a candidate who has all the experience to see a project through from start to finish including the ability to prioritise your workload in order to bring the project in on budget and within set deadlines.

Summary of Role
Effectively manage all works from planning the programme, ordering materials and effectively handing over the site back to the client on time and within budget
Duties Include:
*Effective communication with office, team and client to manage the programme
*Planning of programme and organising of labour and materials within a given budget
*Interpret drawings and specification provided by client
*Ability to manage multiple projects at once
*Developing a tender into workable project plans
*Surveying skills to include scoping, compliance and diagnosis of issues and snagging works
*Contract administration including site minutes and ordering materials
*Organising programme of works, and labour for jobs
*Managing project meetings with client, subcontractors and team
*Communicating with administration team for requirements to site
*Understanding, and interpreting jobs into effective CDM documents, including method statements and risk assessments, and health and safety
*Ensuring all projects are delivered on time and within the budget and quality required by the business and client
The Candidate:
*Experience of managing multiple projects to deliver to a deadline
*Good understanding of reading drawings and construction techniques
*Excellent communication to a variety of levels of people
*Good understanding of Health & safety including principle contractor requirements
*SMSTS qualified, or equivalent
*Ability to work as part of a team
*Ability to motivate and distance manage a variety of teams, including subcontractors in a variety of locations
*Good numerical, IT and software operation skills
*Be prepared to work a variety of hours, travelling where ever the client requires
*Must be prepared to stay away overnight and work occasional weekend
