JOB TITLE: Dental Nurse
SALARY & BENEFITS: Competitive dependent on experience + benefits package
WORKING HOURS: Full Time 37.5 hours per week
THE COMPANY: Our client is a long established family run dental practice. They are based in Thornton-Cleveleys and are looking to recruit a Dental Nurse to join their existing team.
THE ROLE: The role is to support the dentists with chair-side nursing assistance. You will greet patients and make them feel at ease and assist with administrative and clinical paperwork.
THE ROLE: The role is to support the dentists with chair-side nursing assistance. You will greet patients and make them feel at ease and assist with administrative and clinical paperwork.
Key Responsibilities for the Dental Nurse's role in Thornton Cleveleys, Lancashire :
Reception of patients and assisting the dental clinician at the chair side during operative procedures.
Answering the telephone, arranging or cancelling dental appointments and filling records adhering to the practice policies
The stock control of dental materials, recording and ordering any materials required
To carry out duties and /or undertake responsibilities relating to the Health and Safety in accordance with practice policies and procedures
Attend mandatory training and keep continuing professional development up to date
THE CANDIDATE: The successful candidate will be a strong team player and computer literate. Being GDC registered or working towards is desirable however full training will be given to the right candidate. Knowledge of Software of excellence is highly desirable, but not essential as full training and support will be provided. What is essential is you have a real desire and willingness to learn new skills, have strong interpersonal and communication skills and can work on your own initiative.
Key Experience/ Characteristics preferred for the Dental Nurse's role in Thornton Cleveleys, Lancashire :-
Willing to learn
Strong team player
Computer literate
Excellent organisation and time management skills
Already have a DBS check or willing to take one
Able to work on your own initiative
Must live within a commutable distance of Thornton-Cleveleys
