Our client is a global contract electronics manufacturer, serving world-class customers in high-reliability industries by providing a complete set of electronics design and manufacturing solutions in both printed circuit board assembly (PCBA) and full box-build manufacturing.

They are currently recruiting for a professional, flexible and highly motivated Assistant Management Accountant. 

Position Summary 
As Assistant Management Accountant, your role will involve:

•    Assisting in the preparation of the monthly management accounts
•    Reviewing of cost of sales and month and month end inventory balances
•    Reviewing the monthly overheads of assigned departments with the department managers
•    Balance sheet reconciliations
•    Assisting in preparation of forecasts, annual budgets and strategic plans
•    Assisting in the preparation of UK statutory accounts under UK GAAP (FRS102)
•    Assisting in the preparation of UK entities tax computations
•    Assistance with the preparation / review of annual P11ds
•    Assistance in preparing for working files for the annual audits 
•    Ensure all procedures are fully documented and that documentation is maintained for relevant areas of responsibilities, fostering a continued development & improvement culture.
•    Assistance with other specific projects and ad-hoc duties as required 

Who are we looking for? 
The successful candidate will be an energetic graduate or an AAT qualified individual looking to continue with ACCA/CIMA studies. They will have the relevant skills and experience to undertake the role: 

•    Able to work unsupervised, under own initiative and take full responsibility of allocated tasks
•    Prepared to work flexibly to achieve deadlines and multi-task and consistently drive longer term projects to conclusion
•    Able to present and communicate information to colleagues both within and outside of Finance
•    Able to work effectively within a team
•    Hands on approach to detailed reconciliation work and month end process
•    Excellent Microsoft Office skills including Excel and good knowledge of Word
•    Ability to work under pressure to agreed deadlines
•    Good communication and interpersonal skills
