Systems Change Advisor Purpose The Systems Change Advisor within Network Rail undertakes systems change request analysis in compliance with company standards. The role also liaises with stakeholders to determine business requirements details and supports document design solutions for change requests. Finally, the role implements agreed changes and communicate these to the wider business community What does this mean day to day? You will undertake change request and risk analysis in compliance with company standards and procedures. You will monitor the progress of change requests through to implementation in line with compliance with company standards and procedures. You would manage the schedule of changes taking account of priorities and potential conflicts which impact on service and other change requests. In addition, you will produce weekly reports and minutes for the change authorisation meetings. Job Skills, Experience and Qualifications Essential - Experience of undertaking development and design of IT system applications - Competent technical knowledge of asset management systems within a business context - Experience of managing meetings and good communication skills - Attention to detail and time management skills - Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, with well-developed skills in the use of Excel - Knowledge of IT project delivery life cycles Desirable - Experience of managing small projects - Experience of Oracle Database structure - Experience of SQL language - Good railway industry knowledge - Experience of developing analysis tools and utilities - Experience of SharePoint and Business Objects - ITIL qualified to foundation certificate level To apply please click the APPLY button.
